The dental technician fabricates various types of tooth restorations such as fixed metal crowns and bridges, removable partials and all types of dentures. Dental technicians also fabricate orthodontic retainers after dental braces come off.
Equipment and Materials Used
Hand drills, was carvers, high-heat furnaces and a variety of precision instruments are used in this work.
